Mailtrack will be the first Application to be released on the Android platform. Beta testing is well underway with a schedluled release expected for the end of June
The Switch to the Android Platform brings with it a multitude of new fuinctions that can be utilised, including realtime SMS updates, QR code integration as well as Image capture.
One of the more significant factors to this switch is around the cost of the ruggardised devices, most mobile phones will be supplied with contracts or corporate contracts for a minimal cost with the majority being free.
Compare this to the high end costs associated with the ruggardised devices and the appetite for clients to switch is very appealing. Of Course within the Warehouse environment where a ruggardised devices are more often needed and justified we will still be supporting and enhancing these as well.
