With the Android application suite gaining a full head of steam, Intandem is always looking for ways to enhance and improve efficiency in operations, and the Android OS offers a fantastic platform for this.
Desk delivery and collection of files and boxes requested from the recipient is often carried out by mailroom staff or the the storage provider themself. To that end Intandem have developed an easy to use mobile appication that facilitates the pick up and delivey from the desk.
The application is a bolt on to the main Filetrack mobile module and provides a simple to use list function that enables the scanning of multiple barcodes and the capture of a signature or confirmation of delivery or collection.
The data is saved and synchronised and the location update stored into the system and the audit trail. The application runs on both Android and Windows platform and due to be released in December.
